Sarah Hankammer is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Neuromuscular Therapist and Certified Sports Therapist at Above & Beyond Wellness Spa in Fenton, Missouri (license #2015027635, verify with the state; licensed since 2015). Why Sarah Became a Massage Therapist
At sixteen, Sarah was in a severe car accident. After a lengthy rehabilitation, her massage therapist, her mother and her grandparents inspired her to follow the same path, and she decided to dedicate her career to helping others regain the mobility and freedom from pain she had to rebuild herself.
In 2010 she was in a second severe car accident that nearly ended her life. She recovered from three broken vertebrae and four broken ribs and returned to practice. Living through both recoveries deepened her understanding of chronic pain, and taught her how to help a body cope with permanent structural change.
Sarah now teaches Stretch and Self-Care classes so clients can maintain the progress they make on the table.
